Booking FAQ
What kind of music do you play?
Open format. Top 40, hip-hop, R&B, pop, EDM, reggae and Latin. I read the room instead of running a set list, moving between genres and seamlessly keeping the energy up.
What areas do you cover?
I’m based in the Hudson Valley and play across New York — Westchester, the Catskills and New York City — plus northern New Jersey and western Connecticut out to Danbury. I’ll travel for the right event.
Do you do sweet 16s and private events?
Yes — sweet 16s, birthdays, corporate events and private parties. Non-traditional events are my lane. Same approach as a club night: open format, read the room, and keep everyone dancing and enjoying the moment.
Do you DJ weddings?
Some. I’m not a traditional wedding DJ — no formalities program, no working off a script. When I take one it’s a team job: we handle production, lighting, sound and the mic, so the night is covered end to end.
Do you provide sound and lighting?
At clubs and venues, most provide it. For private events I have it all — professional lighting, sound and setup.
Do you take requests?
Sure — I’ll work them in where they fit, as long as it keeps the energy going.
How much does it cost to book a DJ in the Hudson Valley?
It depends on the event — the date, the venue, how many hours, and whether you need sound and lighting brought in. I quote every booking individually instead of working off a package list, and I take a limited number of private events. Send me your date and the details at booking@missdeezy.com and I’ll come back with a number.
How far in advance should I book?
Earlier is better. I take a limited number of private events, and weekend dates go first. That said, if the date’s open, it’s open — email me and I’ll tell you straight.
Where can I hear you on the radio?
I mix on Planet 104 on K104, 104.7FM (WSPK), Fridays at midnight across the Hudson Valley. Past mixes are on SoundCloud and Mixcloud.
